That is, it would replace using a computer for this.
I'll keep my FM9, but my Tone Master Pro is being shown the door. They've done nothing to make me think they'll do anything other than keep losing ground.I'll be the first and say my FM9 is going on sale soon. Fractal amps are great but the feature set of this thing is off the charts and that matters. The Showcase looks insane.
I called SW and put my name on the list. I told him I want the new Line6 Helium.I think he's messing with us.![]()

If I understood this correctly, and taking into account Helix has MIDI out, this Helix Stadium could potentially serve as the command center for automating a whole band live.
You can have backing tracks, which might include a click track only audible through one of the outputs, that would be sent to the mixer, separate from the guitar, and then sent to the whole band's in-ear monitors. If you could also automate sending midi signals to other instruments (maybe with the Nexus thing?), the whole band could play without caring about changing presets during a song.

Assuming that they will continue the success story of HX Native, also assuming that them being a big player, so the amount of HX-exclusive captures will certainly outnumber ToneX and maybe QC ones, also given that you won't have to deal with any leveling issues anymore (as they're taken care of by the HX hardware) - this might become a clear alround winner in that area as well.
Sure, there's still NAM, but in case it keeps being as popular as it is, I'm pretty sure they will do what DI vaguely mentioned already, so there might be some import/conversion routines. That'd really be "case closed".
Where is NAM's gravestone?
NAM doesn't get a gravestone because it's a bit like saying "where is Cab IR gravestone".Where is NAM's gravestone?
My bet is they’re 100% on it about now. Funny I find that will be the most exciting thing to wait for, how it will come out… how will they trickle down such a massive (inside) machine as the Stadium. Ui, how many switches, screen… and so on.Congratulations @Digital Igloo! The new product line looks incredible!
In alignment with your updated naming convention, I would like to propose “HX Dive Bar” as a potential name for the future replacement of the HX Stomp.
NAM will become more popular than ever. The Stadium Proxy feature will probably have NAM import.Where is NAM's gravestone?
Or in other words, I can imagine that they may well include functionality to support not only .wav files (cab IRs), but also .nam files (amp models).
If we're counting NAM, yesIt was 3 out of 4, but who's counting?![]()
no one said 'just to support NAM'I would be surprised if they developed their own "Proxy" cloud based modeling just to support NAM.
