Line 6 Helix Stadium

Assuming that they will continue the success story of HX Native, also assuming that them being a big player, so the amount of HX-exclusive captures will certainly outnumber ToneX and maybe QC ones, also given that you won't have to deal with any leveling issues anymore (as they're taken care of by the HX hardware) - this might become a clear alround winner in that area as well.
Sure, there's still NAM, but in case it keeps being as popular as it is, I'm pretty sure they will do what DI vaguely mentioned already, so there might be some import/conversion routines. That'd really be "case closed".

I can't tell but does Stadium support midi files? It would be amazing to trigger midi parts via Stadium just like the audio.

If I understood this correctly, and taking into account Helix has MIDI out, this Helix Stadium could potentially serve as the command center for automating a whole band live.

You can have backing tracks, which might include a click track only audible through one of the outputs, that would be sent to the mixer, separate from the guitar, and then sent to the whole band's in-ear monitors. If you could also automate sending midi signals to other instruments (maybe with the Nexus thing?), the whole band could play without caring about changing presets during a song.

That is, it would replace using a computer for this.

At the very least, it will be much easier for third-party guys to sell Stadium captures as opposed to Quad Cortex ones, being that there actually IS a marketplace!

No more "Alright, bro, you gotta friend me in the Cortex Cloud, then shoot me an email confirmation of your purchase, and some point after I get off our local tour, I'll slide my modded Fortin Cali pack over to ya...."

Where is NAM's gravestone?

Where is NAM's gravestone?
NAM doesn't get a gravestone because it's a bit like saying "where is Cab IR gravestone".
or, in other words... '.wav file's gravestone'.

Or in other words, I can *imagine that they may well include functionality to support not only .wav files (cab IRs), but also .nam files (amp models).

* don't mistake this for "nam support will be added", but rather "nam isn't a product"

Congratulations @Digital Igloo! The new product line looks incredible!

In alignment with your updated naming convention, I would like to propose “HX Dive Bar” as a potential name for the future replacement of the HX Stomp.
My bet is they’re 100% on it about now. Funny I find that will be the most exciting thing to wait for, how it will come out… how will they trickle down such a massive (inside) machine as the Stadium. Ui, how many switches, screen… and so on.

I hope they stick with their own Cloning tech and don’t incorporate NAM. Keep everything standardized in-house. That at least keeps the control group/method like for like. NAM is for people with too much time on their hands. Like Linux weirdos. (Ok, that was me, but I’m better now)

K y’all I think I’m gonna list my QC for real. Reverb sucks but I think it’s my only route here lol, what would you suggest I price this shit?

I would be surprised if they developed their own "Proxy" cloud based modeling just to support NAM.
no one said 'just to support NAM'

I'm saying they can if they want to, as it's not a 'product'.

They could add support for NAM, and/or adapt it to their own proprietary needs, and even use a script to convert standard NAM models internally to their own format.
