Line 6 Helix Stadium

Everyone is going to have their own takes, but I'll say that while Showcase matters, it's for a subset of users....just like Proxy.

Neither is worth holding up access to Agoura, Focus View and the things that 100 percent of the users will be working with every day.

Yeah, but even if you don't want all of that stuff....most folks want scribble strips...and only the XL will have that (I'm thinking no other units smaller are going to get it since even the regular Stadium doesn't have it).

So, if you want SS, no point wanting for something more tailored to your true needs and possibly lower cost - XL is it.

Is this what you've been calling squirrels all this time? Sheesh bro...

If you want real amp tone - you cant have it without a healthy degree of grit and gristle.

I have never been a fan of the SLO in my Stomp, but this is just so raw and penetrating .... it glorious !

It's not just you. I just dialed in the exact settings (or as close as I could get with the FM9's dynacabs) on my FM9 and while it sounded as good, I could not achieve the same dynamics with picking alone right out of the box. That's a great amp sound.

I need to try building that same patch on my HX Stomp. Helix's Solo Lead OD is one of the best SLO 100 models i've ever tried, but i can't recall it ever having those dynamics either.

I am hearing squirrels and fizziness? A bit but maybe that’s the amps normal tone?
Personally I’m hearing another demo that sounds really impressive; I have not played a real Soldano so I have no clue how close they are from real world experience. Whatever, it sounds great. If it’s not the style of tone you like, the other examples they’ve posted so far have been very different but also sound marvellous in my opinion. Did you like any of them?

Said it many times before, but, kids: real amps are fizzy AF. Ever played a JCM800 in real life?

That hype knob will be a welcome addition for those expecting a more processed, "hifi" tone from these models.

One of things that drew me to modeling was NOT having to listen to raw amp sounds.
