Jason's one of my favorite people, even if he wasn't a Helix user. Everyone be nice please.

i would never, ever consider it if it wasn’t 0% and I KNEW it’s in my “Yeah as with anything, it has its pros and cons. I finally worked down to $0 gear debt the last few months. It was all 0% interest but still, I don't love having a couple grand on a card (that's just me though).
If you are responsible with it, SW financing is awesome, but with any financing, it can be a dangerous rabbit hole
I saw that and shut my mouth in respect lmao I can’t watch a video of his without wanting to rip my ears off
Kind of thin sounding but it’s online so maybe that’s why? Clips won’t really tell us much I thinkOh man that sounded so good. Great playing with some good dynamics. I can’t wait.
Yeah I want to hear this as well. As you said - it’s likely coming at some point.
Like the TMP you mean?Yeah, I'm not a fan of the off set images... they don't look that great to me.
I'd rather they looked square on and were functional, or not at all.
I'm sure others may feel different, but that's not my cuppa tea.
Yes the tmp displays are great. I bet line6 was just trying to be diff with that design so as not to copy tmp. Which is a shame. It almost seems to me that Line 6 deliberately “nerfed” their Focus view/mode, just because they didn’t want to be accused of copying Fender’s skeuomorphic design on their Tone Master Pro (TMP).
If so, then that is a shame, as the GUI on the TMP is bloody brilliant (plus the TMP sounds absolutely amazing).
Besides, it is not like other manufacturers haven’t “borrowed” liberally from prior Line 6 innovations.
Still have the preorder, Tim?Yes the tmp displays are great. I bet line6 was just trying to be diff with that design so as not to copy tmp. Which is a shame.
And you may be happy to know our XY Controller screen does display X and Y axis values both in percentage (0-100) and MIDI (0-127), specifically because it's a linear XY controller. It can be assigned to any number of parameters across different blocks: Press-hold the parameter, tap X (or Y) axis, done.
What code? Memsave?Works just fine on Stadium XL![]()
I've paid little attention to the TMP, but maybe?Like the TMP you mean?
No. A scaled-down version of Focus view existed back in 2012 with StageScape M20d. GUI-wise, the only difference is that we're showing an image of the amp or effect instead of a solid color background. Given what Focus view is (and isn't), tiny moving knobs would be dumb and distracting, not to mention a massive waste of resources.Yes the tmp displays are great. Yes, just set Min and Max values per parameter like with any other controller. Except now it's easier because you can just tap the parameter and move the Min and Max nodes. No need to dig into the Bypass/Control menu at all.Can you enter parameter range limits?
No it’s one of the unique, personal-specific codes that MF sends via email. What code? Memsave?
I preordered the Sweetwater bundle with the backpack. I used to not buy this sort of thing since there are plenty of other viable options, but I've learned that it does matter to me. Anything that reduces the hassle, disorganization, and discomfort of transporting my gear and setting it up and then packing it back up enhances my experience. Sometimes more than eking out an infinitesimally better tone.Dude, allow me to gush a bit. Helix Stadium Backpack might be the most well-designed and well-thought-out thing Line 6 has ever made. Other than a couple of suggestions, I had nothing to do with it; that was all Dale and he knocked it out of the park.
Even if I didn't have Helix Stadium, I'd want one. It's pricey, but worth it IMO. We just need to try it out with other companies' products—Helix Floor, Helix LT, and the big Headrush might not fit, but any others should.
