Line 6 Helix Stadium

It was definitely a team effort (DSP, Sound Design) but a lot of the heavy lifting was done by Norm and others at our Victoria R&D office. The dude's a veritable genius.

I'm woefully ill-equipped but Ben, Sam, or Brandon could.

Man, these videos are NOT helping with the GAS. But I guess that's the point. Effective marketing here from L6 - it's working on me!! Maybe I should do a pre-order or something.....even Tim's got one going.

Also, having the graphics is great - it's going to make me take a look at a lot of those effects that I had just given a cursory glance in the past. And that focus view thing should help try it out and get a sense of what a particular pedal can do.

So can you use that focus or morphine or whatever it’s called? I think it’s morphine on the effects as well. Like pull your finger around to mix different controls of the effects or is that only available on amps

Focus view changes depending on the type of item; think of it like <ahem> focusing in on that particular item.
  • For amps and most effects, you see Focus zones for morphing between five distinct model defaults
  • For cabs, you can move the mic in 3D space
  • For most EQs, you can move band nodes around
  • Loopers have Focus view 3D images but no zones because we have future plans for them
  • Future items will have different Focus views
  • There's no Focus view for Inputs, Outputs, Splits, or Merges
Focus zones are kinda pointless for Gain blocks, Volume Pedals, and Wahs but we included them anyway for consistency's sake.

Hi D.I. 2 quick things

1) is it known yet or planned as to whether or not the new Display will be able to Display things like Compression Meter's etc... in Realtime ?

2) do the EFX need to be "Agoura'fied" the same way the Amps will be re-done ?

Thanks,
Ben
