First of all, I LOVE the new update! Especially the high gain amps are my jam :)

But, isn't it funny how there are always a handful of guys in my comment section who "think it sounds absolutely horrible!"? Where's the nuance? Why not just say "sounds ok but I prefer my (insert brand name) modeler". Why do they feel they need to be so dramatic?

I know there has been a good bit of discussion about the 1959 Agoura model and how it's not aggressive enough (being a late 60's model). I'm curious if you guys like the Silver Jubilee more for that? It's a cool amp for sure.

I'm a big fan of it thus far. Plan to make it the centerpiece of a "hair metal"/80s-type preset I'm working on.

Thats going to depend on pickups and guitar, but on the real amp I will have gain at 7-8 and lead drive above 5. If you go too far it can get too round for certain heavy tones.

yeah there's a heavy bright cap on gain 1, the lower it is the more bass cut you get and it gets violent af when gain 2 boosts it. my question for stadium is does BMT at zero kill the signal like the real thing

Not all of 'em, but a few are definitely bots and/or trolls from at least one competing company. I get not doxxing anyone, but TOP is rough because the mods there will defend them from the slightest accusation of such. I'm still salty that Cliff was banned from that place.

I am LOVING the Cali. Put a Dynamic Ambience in between the amp and the cab and just let 'er rip. Getting some great overtones and edge-of-feedback feel on this.

Violent is a great word for a wound up IIC+... like they're due to be transported to prison. I only had a minute with it but the model gets pretty pissed off.

I pretty quickly switched over to the Cali V30, though the V30 honestly isn't my fav speaker for a Mark. Greenbacks/Creambacks are more my speed.

I'm loving it, especially with V30's. It can definitely be aggressive, and the mid control is really effective in that. I think this is going to be one of my favorites.

The new IIC+ is going to take some getting used to. Absolutely odd and awful stock settings and cab, but I was able to get it somewhere decent in a couple of minutes. Not a Mark IV for sure.

Yeah. I use a dual cab with the Cali V30 and the Cartographer C90, and nothing but dynamic mics at different positions. None of that Neumann condenser stuff....

Yeah, we'll likely change the 2C+'s Focus zones and default cab for the 1.2.X hotfix.

No, it's not wrong. The first couple of albums use those, but they've been V30s since the Black album, I think.

That being said, the default choice for most other iconic Mesa tones are usually v30 based.

My initial take on 5 mins of play time is that the Agoura IIC+ is darker/rounder than the Fractal IIC+.

I definitely prefer Agoura’s options, having all the pull functions, simulclass switch, clean channel, etc. jury is still out on which I prefer to actually play.

I'm not comparing to any other brand, but I have no problems with the top end/attack on either the Mark IIC+ and the Silver Jubilee.
