@Digital Igloo sincerely thank you all for getting the IIC+ in there. Huge bonus points for getting the switches and even the simulclass option.

For anyone getting started with the IIC+ looking for the Hetfield super dry crunch:
Bass: 0,
Mids: doesn’t matter
Treble: 10
Bass shift: off
Deep: on
Bright: on
Lead bright: on
Treble shift: Off - yes it lowers the gain but by the time you have the treble cranked you’re getting a plenty of gain. You get a more dry gain with a more percussive attack with treble shift off.

Use the simulclass power option and set up a nice healthy V with the GEQ. It’s an incredible thing. Don’t overdo the gain.

Is that just general IIC settings that you'd apply to any IIC model or is that dialed in with the Stadium? I'm gonna try these settings later on the ndsp IIC

This is pretty much EXACTLY what I’d dial in on a IIC+ to play right heavy Hetfield type stuff. The amp can do SO MUCH more than that, but that’s where I start. I haven’t tried the Stadium model yet.

Thats going to depend on pickups and guitar, but on the real amp I will have gain at 7-8 and lead drive above 5. If you go too far it can get too round for certain heavy tones.

Problem updating my firmware.

I've updated the app on my PC without issue. When I try to update the Stadium, I get a message saying Updating via wifi is not supported, please connect to USB.

I am connected via USB, but the "download update" button is grayed out, so I can't proceed.
I guess I'll try going to the L6 website to see if I can download it manually.

I had to login on the stadium. Once I did that the download worked.

It’s not intuitive AT ALL if you aren’t familiar with the circuit and what it’s doing, but JFC does it slay like nothing else when you’re looking for the tight heavies.

I don’t mean to paint the amp as a 1 trick pony, because it’s not. The clean channel alone is kind of a black panel fender meets dumble thing when set up right.

Probably my favorite amp on the planet. So happy it’s in Stadium now.

Hey Rocco! Try disconnecting from wifi and then connect usb in the connection window in the top left of the app.

I ran the update on the Stadium itself, rather than through HX Edit. All good.

idk if feature requests go here but I think it would be absolutely bonkers if the arranger thing could do automation lanes where you could do multiple passes of real time motion recording for effect block parameters, and then have like clips or sections you could loop the automation while playing

This is just Phase 1 of Showcase. We still have a ton of new Showcase stuff to add (like proper automation vs. 1.2's event sequencer), but usage stats and requests will determine how it further evolves.
