Line 6 Helix Stadium Pre-Launch Discussion

woah woah woah. Hold up.

I'm pretty sure my missus aint gonna slash my throat in my sleep if I use the hype knob.

But ketchup on sushi? Fucking hell. You're playing a dangerous game, me duck.
It’s like ketchup on steak for the children out there 🥩 🥫

@DLC86 as we speak.

No shit. Have I not even said that myself multiple times already? would you rather bring something to the discussion or just go in circles of bickering?

Sigh.

To use the sushi analogy. Something like hype is like putting ketchup on sushi. Some might like what it does, and who knows, maybe in some instances it might surprise me in a good way. But good sushi doesn’t need extra.

I do wish companies would allow more global “Hide” functions. I get the programming nightmare that would be, but giving granular control to the user to completely hide various aspects of the system would be pretty cool. Would greatly streamline menu trees and screen objects for users.

Probably a support disaster, but sounds good in theory. :ROFLMAO:

See my boot time/startup feature request. Forwarded by DI to the Devs.

See FAS Performance Mode etc for the solution most likely to meet all (most?) needs. Stadium’s big ass touchscreen and encoders would accommodate configuration and usage, respectively, very nicely.

digging into settings to hide/unhide features sounds way more complicated than just scrolling past them

Or we could let users collect all the stuff they do use as favorites and organize them however they like into nested folders.

If this is the deal on Stadium, I can’t wait. QC let’s you tag faves within given effect groups so that they appear at the top of those specific effect type folders, but some of my most used blocks are kind of ambiguous as to which folder they fall under, and finding the folder in the first place is a huge PITA. I would (will?) LOVE the ability to organize folders/ sub-folders of most used blocks from across all different effect etc. types.

Yeah @MirrorProfiles , dogshit analogy. NO ONE puts ketchup on sushi. SOME people will use the hype knob.
