If all analog gear had the exact same look, regardless of what it’s doing, it would be a nightmare.
But it's not analog gear.

Correct. And that’s why it’s important to consider what aspects get carried over and which don’t. Many emulations get carried away and miss what makes the original gear tick in the first place. Like I explained already….But it's not analog gear.
But you can change that. So the quirk is there and you can both have it and not have it. I don't see the issue.
As we know, the difference between different compressors and EQ’s can be pretty small if they’re set the same - the main differences come from how we interact with them, and what controls have been exposed to the user. Making them more flexible and unified takes away at least 50% of the point of character models in the first place.
I don't think the default setting for the volume block should be linear. Volume pedals are logarithmic. But in this case, yes, very easy work around... But I personally think it's odd to have linear as default.
Thank you for bringing us back on track. I’m guessing (hoping for) the Solo100.Wonder what this weeks clip will be ?
I am guessing the Vox Ac30

I can’t remember, is the grammatico gsg one of the first batch of agoura models?
Oh that's a proper nut to crack but a must have for me in any modeler. The best AC30 I have heard so far is the UA Ruby.Wonder what this weeks clip will be ?

Using Hype is just fine. I'm stoked that it appears Ch. Volume has been renamed to just Level.Travelling around at the moment ... so not much posting ... but had a thought.
Re: Stadium and the "Hype" control naming.
To *me* the Stadium seems like its been designed and going to be a balls-to-the-wall top tier pro level device ... "almost" no compromises.
So is it just me (?) that thinks using the word "Hype" for this control is a bit gimmicky or consumer-grade ?
I think what it does is brilliant and it will be super popular amongst all levels of users ... however ... maybe something like "Idealized" or "Refined" (?)

The hype knob I think is a not so subtle tip off the hat to a certain company that’s plug in use a bunch of post processing and blasts your email for days with any new releaseTravelling around at the moment ... so not much posting ... but had a thought.

They're taking the piss out of Neural DSP and how hyped their amp sims are, and how everyone loves them and believes the marketing hype about realism, when they're simply not realistic. So is it just me (?) that thinks using the word "Hype" for this control is a bit gimmicky or consumer-grade ?
I really don’t know where that “bunch of post processing” thing comes from. The difference in amp sounds to me seems more like a different load used.
I also think the Hype control is dumb (no matter what it’s called) and if the option is there to remove it, I probably will. “Improving” the tone in some way is so context dependent, I don’t want someone just taking a blind stab in the dark at it. I love almost everything about Stadiums new features but the whole hype knob thing is not the direction I want things to go in. It’s a solution looking for a problem.
There is a video of Igor with a Badonk model comparing to Gojira , there is definitely some low cut some high cut going or what Igor mentions the tone controls have a limited sweep and seem to focus on a sweet spot like the range between 11oclock and 2 o’clock on a normal amp ,that avoids too much lows and too much highs , I am not saying it a bad thing at allI really don’t know where that “bunch of post processing” thing comes from.
