Yes i would also pay a yearly support for sure
The laughs here are well worth a price for admission

Anderton's story + Lee statement about his involvement in Victory simply make totally sense.

This KHD story is a Victory for Anderton's

I always get the feeling that KDH wants to be the guitarists' consumer rights advocate and white knight champion, crusading for Truth and Justice, but tends to come across as a shit-stirring wannabe dumpster-diving for anything that can be made to look vaguely suspect or salacious, before creating a whole non-existent drama out of something dull.
I did not know who KDH was before this crap hit the fan.

KDH appears to be the Ralph Nader of the music world. Only difference is he stands to benefit from peddling his obvious (to me) feigned outrage.

Irony can be very ironic eh? ;)

It's a victory for everyone because now Andertons will no longer brake the law in their videos. You can't get it any simpler than that.

I don't get why anyone would get their knickers in a twist because someone called them out for not disclosing ownership. You don't care? OK, someone else maybe does. Don't give clicks to KDH and that's that.

Disclaimer: I didn't watch this video, no idea what's said in it.

It's a small a basically useless victory, if you ask me, being Anderton's a shop advertising themselves and stuff they sell in all their videos.

The fact that Lee (partially in this case and we don't even know to what extent) own a brand they stock looks like pretty irrelevant to me.

It's not irrelevant for the UK laws? fine, that's an Anderton's problem.

From a consumer prospective I don't see any harm being made to anyone in this story, they've published thousands of videos in the last 10+ years and only a few of them are about Victory products and, honestly, I've never seen them pushing a victory product more than any other.

Here in the US, it's Caveat Emptor and not against the law to not disclose like it is there, so that may be why many here, or other places where this law doesn't exist, really think this is a nothing burger and a waste of time to get twisted over.

What law were they breaking?
In UK they have something called "Advertsing Standard Authority" and they say "If you own (in full, co-own or in part), or are employed by a brand and use your social media account to promote its products, you must make this known and clearly label these posts as ads."
After this video they have contacted Anderton and he said that ownership will be disclosed from now on.

Yeah, but now I've got a question:
If Anderton's Music Company doesn't own a share in Victory Amps (because Lee Anderton does, as far as I understand) does those rules apply to the content created by Anderton's Music Company or only Lee's?
