KDH Putting in work (Victory Amps ownership)

What’s the fix then? “Victory by Andertons”? That would be too much, since there are eight other investors. Perhaps a blurb on their website?

My interest is solely from the smoke and mirrors GearTube-hype-influencer-marketing angle and even that I don’t find all that interesting because it just comes down to an erosion of trust in the industry, and that’s laughable to begin with, specifically as it relates to the GearTube medium.:ROFLMAO:

So I don’t know or care what they “fix”, but I think a simple statement “I have an ownership stake in Victory” would have been a pretty easy and reasonable thing to say up front, before pimping a brand you own for a decade and having everyone else deny your involvement.

Apologies if this is covered in the video because I haven't watched it but has anyone actually denied he was involved with victory?

as expected, Andertons are absolutely rubbing their hands together at the free attention and exposure towards them.

guarantee there isn’t a music shop on the planet that wouldn’t want the same spotlight shined on them, it’s a fairly innocuous thing they did in return for getting their name in the (dull ass) music gear headlines.

New conspiracy. KDH is Lee's bastard child from an illicit affair in 1994 on Brighton Beach. Now KDH is working
for his "Poppa" behind the scenes by drumming up views and interest with a supposed "takedown" video.

Right, and as I and others have said, we already knew Andertons had a stake in Victory and Chapman since the beginning, so I guess some people missed it? Did he actively deny involvement? Because that'd be a different matter.

I would describe it as thus:

(1). When asked directly: "do you own Victory amps?" which only really happened once Lee was honest and straightforward with the dude.
(2). Other instances where others were asked more broadly "What is Lee Anderton's involvement?" answers that minimized his involvement while skillfully evading mentioning "oh, by the way, he also is one of 9 owners of the company" were given.

I think an honest viewing of the video says: "There was clearly an agreed upon policy where we make it very clear that Martin Kidd is the designer of the amps, and we do our very best to never mention who the 9 owners are, even if it requires some pretty obfuscated-if-honest answers to questions"

I’m just going to sit here playing speed metal on a Mesa and wait for this whole thing to blow over.

Victory is good. Their amps are fantastic.
I like many of KDH’s videos, though I agree he has some duds and this one was strange.
I stumble onto Anderton’s videos from time to time and wish they played more and talked way, way less.

Like so much less. If you skip around in their videos you’d be hard pressed to hear the amps or guitars, its 90% inane.

Wow. People really need to get outside and get some fresh air. While it's a topic worthy of discussion, people are taking shit WAY too seriously.

Yeah, IMO, TOP is overrun with members trying to over analyze everything, prove some sort of mental prowess over each other, and look down on everyone below their perceived superior status. To be fair there are plenty of pretty good members too, but the keyboard warriors try to rule the roost.

Yup. Conversation about highly nerdy topics is normal for a forum like this one or that. But sometimes people go so far into the weeds, they need to stop and ask if it's really important/worthy for time.

I read that too. IMO, if you are putting together a partnership to bring anything to market, it would make sense to have a partner that already has the distribution process in order.
