I’ve got multiple original LPs CDs and Vinyl & CD Box Sets but still only gravitate to this outstanding Greatest Hits album when I need a ZZTop Fix 🤘

I sure have played that greatest hits album a lot. I am not sure it is all the ZZ TOP you will ever need but it has a lot of good songs on it.

Looks like it's missing the whole pre-Deguello era, except for a couple of tracks, and those two are the god-awful six-pack remixes.

No thanks.

True. No one ever lets a good friend Greatest Hits legendary bands/artists. :hmm

Heck, I wouldn't even do that crap to an enemy.

This is how I listen to .38 Special.
Greatest hits on shuffle.

Any other way and there is always a song or two missing that I would want to hear...

Of course, a lot of times that's how I listen to VanHalen.
First six albums on shuffle, always awesome!

Tough call, since I only really knew their 70s stuff. Back then, still in high school, I’d tool around town in a beat up Ford Torino with some long forgotten friends. Yet, I can still recall listening to Tejas while driving, one of just a handful of cassettes, and in particular Asleep in the Desert parked in midnight on the verge of slumber, my fave ZZ Top cut.

definitely not. tres hombres and rio grande mud and zz tops first album on vinyl are really all i need- not any of the awful remasters. full first go-around analog masters, no terrible 80s sounds involved!

Oh yeah - ZZ Top’s First Album!! Brown Sugar alone is worth the listen. But a lot of other good songs on there.
