DAMN! Finally! I guess I'm plugging my Tonex in
... unfortunately not released yet:
"In February, the TONEX Editor will add a new dimension to the Ecosystem and further represent IK's relentless pursuit of tonal perfection in the studio and on stage."
IK MULTIMEDIA. SOUND BETTER.
IK Announces TONEX Editor, a real-time editor for creating and saving presets to TONEX Pedal and TONEX ONE.www.ikmultimedia.com
IK released a new editor software:
I was seriously just about to write "SOON"!
I'm not a huge fan of amalgam for high gainSince Mesas are the official amps of this forum, does anyone have any recommendations of captures to check out? I have the TONEX sw installed. Is it still Amalgam captures that are the cream of the crop?

Thanks, I’ll check out the free one when I can!![]()
You can try them free and there is a free capture.
There are a myriad of ways it could augment an HX Stomp, and I’ve been on the fence getting one but don’t want to give more money than I have to IK, since I’ve felt cheated on their ”sales” etc of software.I can get a Tonex for cheap.
Would it add anything to the HX Stomp i already have?
The ONLY real reason to get the big one over the small one imo is the lack of midi on the One. With the big pedal you can send midi commands and change your tonex patch based off snapshot changes on your stomp.I can get a Tonex for cheap.

does it work like say fractal or others where you can have different gear and settings ?
Well i dont know much about the tonex or the capture ecosystem why i askedOf course. Why wouldn't it?
I just think that the options are pretty limited. Which is why I'm defenitely not interested in the big unit.
