It’s just modeling vs capturing, two different methods to get your sound - and with the QC there are modeled drives and amps as WELL as captures in the same unit. Some people don’t like captures, some people love them.Seems to me Fractal component modeling is by far superior

and really it wont cost you a cent
QC is similar but your Plugins is a suite so thats not too bad

QC has an SLO already though. And when you buy the plugin, you get software that runs totally independently of the HW so it’s not really a “pack” or HW expansion. If you already own the plugin then it just means you can use it on a QC and achieve the same sounds.Seems to me Fractal component modeling is by far superior

Worse than that. IRs work on pretty much anything you buy in the future, while this stuff works only on Tonex. Move to a different unit that uses e.g NAM? Tough luck, can't use what you bought.Uhh well this is dumb Why pay for these ?? 4 Pedals with 50 Different Configurations ?>
