IK Multimedia Group Buy 2025

Are there any ”must-haves” in TRacks 6 that isn’t included with Pro? Redeemed it for the future.

You mean TRacks 5 Pro?
For me, the good thing is that you can by now deactivate all the things you don't want to see in your DAW with a kinda managing tool.

Fwiw, in general, I think their dynamic processors are pretty decent, but things such as the Delay Lab or Filter Fusion are pretty underwhelming. There's better free things IMO.
I do like their Triad Chorus quite a bit. Unfortunately that's not part of the TRacks 6 Pro package (the only one included in the promotion), but only available in the Max version, so I may grab it separately. Would never pay anything even close to the list price, though (almost 120 Euros for a chorus have got to be a joke, seriously), but as I have plenty of groupbuy slots still available, who cares.

Btw, is there any of the piano libraries any of you folks would recommend? I have a plethora of pianos already (NI Komplete Ultimate 13, Steinberg Absolute 6, all the Logic stuff), but if there's something with a kinda special character (I'm not interested in any grands or such, my playing skills aren't good enough for those), I'd be all ears.

Is the ARC X software basically the same thing as the ARC Studio, just without offloading the processing to a hardware box?

I used to use Sonarworks Reference but the software was so bad (crashes, bugs, poor support from dev) that I'm not going that route, but when it worked it was nice. So can ARC X do the same things for my monitors?

Can I use one of my Sonarworks XREF20 reference mics for the correction or is the IK mic a necessity?

Thanks, i redeemed the vocal strip and Prism Reverb, the Lurssen stuff and might do the Triad Chorus as well. Looks like I’ll have a few free slots left.

Also interested in which Pianoverse to redeem.

@IK Multimedia Peter, would snagging Sampletank 4 SE + a bunch of the separate instrument packs effectively equal Sampletank 4 Full or does Sampletank 4 Full just have a larger core library? I'm basically just wondering if there's anything from Sampletank 4 that can't be obtained from the group buy. No biggie if not, I'm sure I'll upgrade to Sampletank 5 when you release it in the next 3-6 months ;)

I believe this is correct and that ARC X would have to be running as a plug-in. I just bought the ARC Studio to pair with my Kali LP-6 and sub and it should be here in a few days.

ARC X is indeed the software only solution that runs in your DAW as a plugin. You can use their ARC branded mic or one of like 2 others they support. Currently they have the ARC X + Mic bundle for the same cost as ARC by itself and it qualifies for the group buy. I really enjoy using ARC for my home studio and plan on using it for the forseeable future.

You should be able to use TONEX Signature Collections and Tone Partner Collections purchased on ToneNET on the TONEX iOS app. Was there one specifically that you had an issue with?

None of them show up at all. Additionally, the app crashes at least six times before I can even keep it running, on iOS 26. They really should de-list the app, until they can get it working properly.

Have you reported this issue to IK Support? The restore purchases should sync whatever Signature Collections or Tone Partner Collections you have purchased on ToneNET. And it shouldn't crash like that obviously.

@IK Multimedia What does it mean on ARC X that it allows using a "generic measurement mic with its calibration file"? Where can I get such a calibration file, and is this absolutely required?

I was hoping to use just the ARC X software with my Sonarworks XREF20 reference mic which is near-flat already. I'd rather not have more measurement mics floating around.

Looks like you can download the calibration file for your mic on their support page. They talk about it here:

Also, if you buy ARC X on sale right now, you're gonna get the mic anyway. I dont think they have the option to sell it separately at the moment. So you'd get a free mic plus 30+ IK software products.

I was thinking of buying the Tonex One, and getting the ARC X software from the group buy.

I already have two XREF20s so I'd prefer using those. I got one originally with Sonarworks Reference 4, it came with the wrong license and the shop just said "fuck it, keep the mic, we'll ship you another box".

If the Sonarworks calibration files are compatible with ARC X, that would be great.

I was trying hard to ignore this, I really spend so much time on my computer for work that I didn't want to spend more time than the FM9Edit or HXEdit to play guitar but I got sucked in and ended up buying the ToneX pedal and Capture bundle.
Ok, now I could use some opinions on what to get?

I got the Mesa, Engl and Metal Gems for now.

My plan is only do stuff on the ToneX pedal and maybe capture some things.

It's currently up to 34 free things (31 left) and I have ignored ToneX because of the anti computer/guitar thing.

Please.

I have the precision monitors and they are excellent. Sometimes I think about going back to genelecs but for the money and size the precision are way better than anything else I’ve tried.

I believe arc x is new gen correction software that can work independent of the studio box or precision monitor. I have the arc X running on the precisions.

IK has their own measurement mic but you could probably use with a generic one. Some high end mics may come with a measurement file for extra precision but not sure if arc can load those.

If you’re looking for guitarcentric tools:
  • Brown sound ToneX packs - really you have enough vouchers to grab all the ToneX collections in the group buy
  • Amplitube Mesa and Mesa 2
  • Amplitube Fender and Fender 2
  • I’m forgetting a million things
