IK Multimedia Group Buy 2025

I don’t have enough faith in the postal system to chance an item from Italy to Australia in a timely manner 🤣

Looks like I’ll just keep stacking those jam points and grab software
Do they have them on Amazon there? I got mine next day from Amazon UK and registered and all good.

I just had a look, by the time you slap an extra 35 euro delivery to Australia... even knocking 60 euro off with jam points its about even with a retailer is selling it here for, just a waste of jam points. I still might get one locally but not worth ordering it from them.

Even with the shipping added, after using some jam points I got it for $100 NZD less than what retailers are wanting over here

I can get it for 280aud off of amazon and it'll be here around October22

From IK Direct:
$199 + 35 = $234
$234 - $60 jam points = EU $175
$175EU to AUD is around $315 which will no doubt end up being $330 or more.

Other music shops have them here for $320 or $350 as the regular on shelf pricing so even the difference between $330 from IK or buying from a shop down the road is splitting hairs and wasting jam points. So yeah, no point going that route.

Will products registered after 10/31 also contribute to the group buy? Or only products registered up until 10/31? Just ordered a TXO.

as someone who already has everything via Total studio Max, I recommend: (obviously everyone has their own needs)

- Tonex Mesa,
- Tonex Browns,
- Tonex Satriani
- Tonex Red Seven Hybrid
- Sampletank
- Arc (even if you aren't big on having your studio room optimal - it is at worst a great parametric eq)
- Amplitube
- T racks has some great tapes, Sunset studio reverb
- the X pedal series

I would pass on:
-MODO bass is fine but EZbass has way more to offer
-MODO drums is okay but there are tons of better drum vsts
-Pianoverse is good but tons of overlap between all of the pianos - I only use one of them. Most of my other stuff is Ezkeys for Piano.

Hey Peter,

I don’t mean this in the slightest as a dig to you, but can you please ask the marketing guys to take off iPadOS/iOS compatibility from the ToneX addon packs? They don’t work, can’t be used.
You should be able to use TONEX Signature Collections and Tone Partner Collections purchased on ToneNET on the TONEX iOS app. Was there one specifically that you had an issue with?
If you buy the tonex one pedal from IK directly do you have to wait for it to arrive and register it before you qualify for everything, or is it pretty much instant after purchase?
You do. I see there was more conversation about this but if you or anybody orders now or soon and doesn't get their unit in time just keep your order information and I can make sure someone takes care of you.

Which do you like?
Due to the sheer size of the libraries and the fact that I don't specifically use pianos as a primary instrument I knew I didn't need to install all of them. I watched this video and chose the NY Grand s274. They are all amazing but you will notice there is minimal sound differences between them and each have additional effects including reverb and such.

It reminds me of how particular our guitar forums can be. Someone out there is comparing their actual Steinway / Yamaha / Bosendorfer with the plug in saying "the feel isn't the same but it would work in a mix"

Yeeeeah I'm gonna have to jump on this, gotta spend some time tomorrow going over what I want to get. Too good of a deal to pass up!

I am trying to figure out what I can use to justify participating. I have the Tonex stuff I want, and I don't even know what most of the other stuff is, and in the rare moments I am honest with myself, I am pretty sure I would say I am never going to sit in front of a computer much to make music.

I'm considering the ARC Studio (I know my room is not great and needs treatment, too) or just going all in for the iLoud Precision 5 monitors to get the correction built-in.

Can’t comment on the precision monitors but I’ve had the arc studio running for over a year, not a single glitch here. Just did the calibration and it’s been going ever since.

I need to update it and do a fresh calibration at some point, but for the price it’s a great solution (much better than doing this in software apps, having a dedicated box makes it a lot better)
