I really want a company to make a modern 1U rackmount effects processor

seems smart to me. myself, i dont need fx really, but a single space pre would be nice to mount in a short rack box with a two space power amp. oversized headshells with exposed knobs that can bust, or worse, roadcases, just eat so much real estate. i love a four space rack box to chuck on a 412 with removable faces? man.

I still use my G-Major 2 from time to time. It sounds great and it's very easy to use.

My thing these days is, if I'm taking the rack, I have to take a foot controller too. And for the same size of a foot controller, I can have something with the effects built-in and ditch the rack, so...

The last one really. I had one but didn’t like the reverbs much. Probably the best all in one 1U in semi recent memory.

I came real close to getting an eclipse back in the day. Whatever GAS I had then has left.
I love the Blackhole reverb plugin, so I'm sure the pedal is great.

I have the Timefactor, Modfactor, Space, and two H9s. They’re all great.

There's been a massive rise in interest for outboard recording gear in rack form. I wonder why
not with guitar? Is it just a matter of time??

Synergy, Soldano, Fryette, Zuta, Line 6, Fractal Audio, and Mesa Boogie all make modern rack gear for guitarists.

I was just saying it is not on the level of the upswell in outboard recording rack gear
we have seen in the past decade or so. Nor as much volume or diversity as we saw
in the 1990s. Maybe more will be coming. That's all.
