Helix Talk

I’ve been using the Stringjoy 26-95 on my Ibanez SRC6, which are quite nice too.
These Fender are 100 80 65 44 34 24 (apparently it's a new set from Fender). The low E makes a true difference, especially coming from 90.

The lower strings feel like a regular bass, and I still have the other three to sound like a fat guitar.

I tune to Eb, but it’s pretty good as far as tension. It’s string through body.

Pssh, only a .100?
I started with 84 and I've been a year with 90. It's a huge leap for me 😆

And I'm not sure if this thing could handle more than that. Anyway, coming from playing jazz bases with 105-45, this Hellcat VI with these strings on mid-treble position is close enough for me :)

Yeah, he plays a 100, I play a 95, because we’re civilized people playing instruments, not cavemen. 😂
This is definitely a blunt instrument for melee combat.

I'm sharing my excitement about my work with Helix. I've been making real cab IRs for various pedalboards (including Helix) for a few years now, and during one of the many demonstrations I do to let people try my work, I decided to Capture my HX Stomp with an amp and a specific IR I made. I wanted it to sound and feel just like the new Dumble ODS that QC recently released with its stock cab. I uploaded it to the QC cloud so my friends who own one could compare my Helix recording to the Dumble with the original stock cab, doing A/B mixing themselves on their QC pedals, without any video tricks (you can't really perceive the feel through video, and that's crucial here).

To my amazement, this past weekend, NDSP selected my Helix HX Stomp recording with an amp and IR from among the thousands in the cloud and uploaded it to their website's main menu for download for the Nano! So what you're hearing there is the HX Stomp!!! I really couldn't be happier with this.

Groundhog Day was yesterday!! :hmm

I considered grabbing this due to the price before assuming it’s just a scam, being that the seller just created their FB account this year.

I reported a few ads for a Taylor 814 at a stupidly low price over the last few days. They're all using the same pics, the accounts were all setup last year and apart from a profile pic none of the accounts have any info in them at all.
