I’ve been using the Stringjoy 26-95 on my Ibanez SRC6, which are quite nice too.

These Fender are 100 80 65 44 34 24 (apparently it's a new set from Fender). The low E makes a true difference, especially coming from 90.

The lower strings feel like a regular bass, and I still have the other three to sound like a fat guitar.

I tune to Eb, but it’s pretty good as far as tension. It’s string through body.

I started with 84 and I've been a year with 90. It's a huge leap for me

And I'm not sure if this thing could handle more than that. Anyway, coming from playing jazz bases with 105-45, this Hellcat VI with these strings on mid-treble position is close enough for me :)

The bass player can do whatever he wants when I’m that low. He can even play guitar, lol. I still HP at like 80-90hz at the output. That leaves like one octave for the bass player.
Also fuck him. Stupid bass player.
