Helix Talk

I had a similar issue back in the days with the HX Floor. Happened twice, the symptoms were slightly different, but one time I had the very same thing as in a delay still being active after switching it off. In that case, a reboot fixed it, in another case, the entire unit started to behave completelsy sloppy (as in not registering switch actions anymore), that time I had to do a reset and ended up with a corrupted preset that was kinda auto-avoided on reboot (don't exactly remember) so I could delete it later on.

No idea whether it's even remotely related, but in both cases the patch was a uber-kitchen-sink preset, stuffed to the max, with possibly not even enough CPU headroom to add a Simple EQ.

Interesting, does sound like a similar malfunction

I am irate that the problem was unrepeatable once back home and everything was fine but I guess I should do a factory reset to be safe

That said I only use the stomp for FX and none of my presets are getting particularly close to maxing out DSP (I think)

I can’t stand issues that don’t repeat themselves. It’s like you know there’s a gremlin in there and it’s gonna pop up when it’s least convenient for you. Hopefully this is a case where unplugging the Stomp from a power supply overnight fixed it for you, but there’s gonna be that thought in your head now for the immediate future

My LT fritzed recently where I couldn’t change presets. Someone smarter than me theorized a power surge threw something off. I reloaded the firmware, and things have been going ok since.

I used to have the delay staying on thing with my stomp occasionally when I first got it. Sometimes I would reboot it and it would still have a phantom delay. It seemed to go away after the 3.80 update, or maybe after a factory reset before 3.8, I can’t remember.

@spawnofthesith Were you using the original power supply? Mine also acted wonky sometimes when using a myvolts usb power cable.

I’m running it off my Cioks with the doublers and adaptor they provide for the stomp

Another weird one was years ago my Stomp went haywire when I renamed a snapshot or effect. I forget which it was and what exactly happened but I just gave up on fussing with names and colors and stopped having problems.

Now that I think about it, that was ann thing that influenced my decision to go with the LT as opposed to a stomp based pedalboard.

Does anyone else use Command Center to set up a switch to turn pages on chord sheets on a connected iPad (I know, I know — I've memorized most of our songs, but for new ones or really complicated ones, I still use the crutch). I had that set up, using Command Center to send a Hot Key. I think either Arrow Down or Page Down would work. But the iOS 26 update seems to have broken that. Has anyone found a workaround?
