Helix Talk

Fwiw, for the Stomp it'd be amazing if there was a loop block allowing you to feed both the L and R loops simultaneously or alternatively. The latter is something I would use all the time. Having an additional freed up block would be exactly what I needed for a little setup I'm just trying to slap together. Without that block I'm having quite a tough time.
That would actually be nice - a dual mono parallel FX loop with individual send level, return level and pan controls for "L" and "R".

Yeah. But I'd also love to be able to just alternate between the two without having to assign whatever min/max values to controllers/switches, which is what you, for example, have to do with Y splits in case you just want to switch between path A and B (fwiw, this could be made easier as well, especially as it's quite annoying once you load any such a patch in HXNative).

I’m not sure of this has been requested already, but some sort of acoutic IR block would be cool. What I’m imagining is similar to the new cab blocks, but in addition to IRs for mic placements, you could adjust IRs for different body shapes (dreadnought, concert, parlor, etc.).

IMO too many people sleep on the legacy FX, and the legacy verbs in particular.

I've always thought that the legacy verbs are really useful and also stack really well.
I've said it before, but the Jumbo Fuzz is my favorite fuzz in the Helix drive section.

There's a good amount of Legacy stuff that's pretty awesome. 😎

Also, I feel like the Particle Verb hasn't been directly replaced, the new verbs are great, but I don't think any of them have that thunder it has in its trail.

I'm about to take this thread in an unpopular direction, but Trey Anastasio of has been using two M5s in his live rig pretty extensively since 2021. When he started using them there was a mad rush on them by phish nerds and with the supply chain issues at and they were selling for stupid prices used

I hear the M5 is still seen on a lot of session musicians pedalboards. I know i see the DL4 very often used by touring bands.

The legacy FX section of Helix gets overlooked quite a lot it seems, and a shitton of algorithms there still kick ass to this day.

Ask anyone with a DL4 on their pedalboard.
Yeah the legacy effects are quite often really cool!

For the legacy delays, I kinda wish they had an extra parameter which was something like "emulate DL-4 DAC" which would cruft up the delays even more. I think @Digital Igloo might've mentioned this before as an idea they had and then figured it would be a bit to OTT, but I love stuff like that!
