We NEED a performance view mode in the big Helix akin to the LT perf mode.

That'd be like Line 6 admitting they had the "illumination aspects" of the Floor pretty wrong to begin with. Which they had. Because:

Had a live gig on Halloween and the stage was horribly lit. I just want to see the FX on the display in *BIG*.

One of the main reasons for me to sell the Floor. Had a bunch of summer (bright diffused light) gigs where I needed to adjust some things during soundcheck (almost impossible already) and ended up not seeing which of my stomps was switched already.
A "show me the switches' function in large" display mode could at least have fixed the latter.

I'd totally agree. But the issues the Floor has with critical lightning conditions were known pretty much since day one. And as soon as the LT hit the market, there's been the additional display mode that - I'm absolutely sure - could've been ported to the Floor easily. And yet it didn't happen.
