Helix 3.7: The Freeman Update

Fwiw, it'd be great if you folks at Line 6 could provide meaningful filenames for your downloads. Helix Native has the 3.70 in it but HX Edit is just that. Nothing big but it shouldn't be big for you folks to add this, either.

Next up for the Digitech team.

Eeek! I'm leaving Dec 1 to snorkel, skindive, kayak, and paddleboard in a bay known for tiger shark attacks and where they just spotted a 12-footer a few weeks ago. So if I end up getting eaten, at least I can die knowing James Freeman is happy.
Wait are you coming here? Let me know we usually have something fun going on

Wow, this update encompasses just about everything that people have been asking for, for the last who knows how long! I can't wait to try the new Voltage and the two new reverbs; they'll be especially great in my ambient P&W shoegaze kitchen-sink preset.

I'm currently using two Jumped Plexies in stereo, which uses a monstrous amount of DSP. I'm optimistic that the new Voltage Amp will help with this. I can't wait to try the infamous new JCM800 too, but I suspect the Voltage will be more my thing.

I'm really excited to see the Dripman as well. I occasionally experiment in surfy sounds, and the 215 cab with the Dripman will be great for that. Well done Line 6, and @Digital Igloo , you absolutely knocked this one out of the park. Everyone has got to be happy now.

Ooohhh looks nice….

Maybe I’ll rearrange some things to get some time to check this stuff out before I get too far into the weekend.

D

And fwiw, if you folks are like me and prefer checking out amps through the same sort of allround-ish cab, go for the 2x12 Mandarin30 (default settings are fine) and look no further. Works well for pretty much anything from jazzy clean to pretty heavy drive. You can thank me later.
