Have You Bought Any Pedals Lately In 2025?

I had the micro flanger and I don't recall any volume drop or variation but take into account that I always used it in front of the amp dirty channel and I might have not noticed it.

I liked it a lot.

Yeah, I only notice the slight volume boost when running it with a clean sound. As soon as I run it into any dirt I don’t notice it.

MXR modulation pedals in general seem to love going in front of a dirty amp

These two arrived from Andertons around 10.00 am this morning .
I’m going to have some fun with them over the weekend 👍
Both are really well made 👍🍺

In my search for a Muff-style fuzz with more EQ control, I took a shot on a DopeFX Earth Dweller, should hopefully be with me before the end of the week..

Lets see if this thing is up to the task, not many reviews out there on this one, but the very few I could find were very positive.

for £50 I thought it's worth a shot. the Russian Pickle was quite disappointingly underwhelming, I love my mids.
I've been thinking about the Tone Wicker Muff again at some point? I don't do single coils and it will be after wahs other pedals so it's pretty much crippled from my signal chain and gear from the jump :(

I've watched endless videos on different Muff variants, but I totally forgot about the Wicker until you just mentioned it, never shown up on my radar once. I'll have to look that one up, even if just to see what the difference is and satisfy my curiosity.

As I'm in an Industrial band I see how wacky this can sound before a wah, see how drastic that filter effect works for some of our weirder passages.

IIRC the wicker gives you back mids. Which in my mind is a great thing! Industrial band would be an absolute blast :satan

I thought that too...been one headache after another and too restrictive thanks to a particular member, so this'll hopefully be my tone for another project I got in the pipelines. Fuzz, Modulated Delay, a cheeky bit of wah and get some filthy textures going.
