Graph Tech Hexpander worth it?

Looking to get some insight it using one of these.

I'm currently shopping for a wilkinson style piezo tremolo and basically wondering if adding the hexpander from the graph tech ghost system is worth it.

My use case would be straight into my interface and using vsti's in my DAW for synthy stuff.

Should I bother? Can I even use it that way?

I'm getting a piezo bridge regardless, just wonder if the extra coin is worth it.

It works pretty good, I used to have it on a few of my guitars years ago but rarely used it so removed and sold them. But as I recall it did work well. I didn't use it for recording much, pretty much just for live work.
