Friedman IR-J (Jake E Lee?)

the JJ and Butterslax would both be insta-buys for me.
would love to hear these side by side with the BE because the amp circuits are like 98% identical and i’m curious how distinct they sound, and whether all of them are needed.

I’d like to see a Naked pedal next, JEL and DS do the 800 thing, BE can do most of the other signature circuits

Fiiiinally you made your way over here! :headbang

And yes, the JJ and Butterslax would both be insta-buys for me.

I'd like to see an IR-Butterslax just to get more out of the 3 channels, but since these are supposedly based on the Synergy platform I would assume a 3-channel IR would be off the table.

I would legit be all over this or a Butterslax pedal lol

Again, for dummies...

If I am into JCM800 tones, which one would be best for me in the current line-up. IR-J?

^^ I think the JEL is like a modded 800 with "stock" sounds available, so the IR-J would probably be your best bet.

Unlikely to ever happen, but I would LOVE if B.A.D. could convince Reinhold to make an XTC version. IR-XTC would be instabuy for me if it's the 101b flavour with three channels. :love

100% if they had the red/ blue w bright switches boost
Basically a Syn XTC module in a IR-X , I would love it

I dunno about 'unlikely' but if the Friedman stuff continues to be a hit financially for them, I'd expect others to jump in. Soldano, et al.

Reinhold strikes me as very open minded based on his collaborations with Line 6, pedal versions of classic amps, mini SS amps, etc; so I don't see why this wouldn't happen if there is dough there. And he's already done the work to distill the preamp in a Syn module.

IR-xxx concept seems to be aligned well with this small pedal amp replacement kind of trend that is happening.
