It doesn't get applied on each successive repeat causing "fading" and further exaggerated EQ changes, though does it. If you get what I mean.
This stuff is REALLY cool and I think I might take the plunge in getting the small screen with the two EC/XY controllers. My biggest thing to navigate right now is how often I have to walk up to my pedalboard, there's a couple songs where I can't walk away from it so I'm tickled with the idea of switching Scenes with the XY controller and using the EC controller for some weird ring mod/pitch stuff.
This dude goes through all the products, seems Luminite put some good thought into developing these with tons of features and ease of use. Everything I saw seemed entirely logical, which isn't always the case with MIDI stuff.

I
I had these and had both of the controllers on my guitar for a bit, however programming things was just confusing as heck in my opinion.
I have been thinking about getting it back again off and on though but probably won't.
I don't quite understand how people have trouble here. Mapping CC signals in the Fractal stuff is super simple. It has a learn mode. So you just make sure your Fractal unit is on a unique channel, that the signal generating unit is sending on that channel, and then you find the thing in the MIDI setup page on the Fractal unit you want to map, hit Enter to go in to learn mode, and then have the generator unit send signal. Done. Were you programming it with Fractal stuff at the time? Hahaha I ask because I've yet to hear of anyone having a good/easy time working with Fractal MIDI stuff. I had no problem setting up amp channel changes via MIDI, but I can imagine for this I'll be digging a bit deeper.

While it might not be perfect, it really is a great piece of kit.....glad you're diggin' it.I literally began to sing this on one of my days off when I forced myself to take care of some home responsibilities I'd been putting off since delivery.
So did I... But the Ground Control stuff (in hindsight) is very limited in what it can do.I've got a fair amount of experience in figuring out MIDI fuckery with my G-Force/Ground Control/Expression pedals on tech created in the 90's so I'm not too afraid to dive in.

PCs, CC via expression pedal and IA switches (CC on/off only).
Fractal uses CC data values for scene and channel changes on blocks and there's no capability of the Ground Control to specify values. Switches can only send 0 or 127.
After I got my Axe Fx II back in the day I quickly realized these limitations and moved in another direction.
I had multiple Ground Control (original) and GC Pro as well as the Ground Link and GCX loop switchers... I was always happy with them before.
The midi system is really not hard in the Fractal. The main thing is to understand how to assign the CCs for the blocks you use and how to do scene/channel changes.
Same with Herbert mid cut. I know you can get there with an EQ, but still. Would be cool to have.
I did a lot of this with Helix by inserting a patch cable from send to return. Plenty of error in my trials!WARNING: If you're going to experiment with the send/return thing, definitely turn your main volume on your unit down super low until you get the feel of it or turn it all the way off, add effect block after delay and bring it in slowly when checking each effect or effect preset. Adding some effects can cause feedback or rumbles that are super loud. I added a synth block and tried one of the synth presets and it rumbled so loud it cut audio off from my fm9 and wouldn't come back on until i rebooted, so there must be some audio safety thing baked in!
Another term used by Helixers, from where I've first heard the term. You know what is weird?
"kitchen sink" thing lol.
I have never ever seen someone describe a preset with that phrase except the fractal community lol.
I see it all over the fractal forum and things like RANF (refresh after new firmware) etc.. Then they expect newbies to know that that means.
Just type it out, geezlol.

You know what I dont hear about Helix? How fun the vocoder is, because it DOESNT HAVE ONE BUT THE POD HD500X DID WTF
TOO
MUCH
FUN
