A preset, maybe?Would be nice if there was a way we could take a combination of blocks and save them into one block that we could recall anytime!
I should make this a wish list thing! COMBO BLOCKS!
Correct Alex, a preset is just a whole bunch of blocksA preset, maybe?![]()
You don't need the SEND/RETURN blocks to do that though. The IN3/OUT3 stuff should be fine there.Ok this send/return trick is one of my favorite things now

Not sure I follow? I am using the gm-800 in3 block in the path between the return and send which also has a delay block and then the delay repeats get synthesized by the gm-800.
I think he's just clarifying, because this is something that hangs people up fairly regularly. The In/Out blocks correspond to the physical input and output jacks on the back of the unit. The send and return blocks are for routing the signal from one row to another internally (on the grid) and are periodically assumed to be an effects loop (due to the terminology).
You'll learn fast if you aren't careful!WARNING: If you're going to experiment with the send/return thing, definitely turn your main volume on your unit down super low until you get the feel of it or turn it all the way off, add effect block after delay and bring it in slowly when checking each effect or effect preset. Adding some effects can cause feedback or rumbles that are super loud. I added a synth block and tried one of the synth presets and it rumbled so loud it cut audio off from my fm9 and wouldn't come back on until i rebooted, so there must be some audio safety thing baked in!

Well There are no blocks in the ToneX so .....Is tonex or tonex one worth trying even if you have fractal?
I never tried a capturing device before, but seeing that these are pretty cheap, is it worth to add with my fm9?
For me captures are like IR folder diving possibly worse, so thats a no go for me
I prefer component modeling and dialing in tones using my ears not someone else's Interpretations
So
