Question is Does the Send return Have any type of Impact ?
Or is it really just to extend your chain ?

Like this below would probably all fit on one row so why the send then return ?

Pretty sure it's just to extend it. I've seen many people do this for some reason and ask the same question... WHY! Only answer I have is maybe it makes it better visual wise for them to see things spread apart.

It also lets you create a feedback loop.

Why? Probably because the Axe-FX can run a ludicrous number of blocks.

If you're running close to the max on processing, shit canning the unnecessary shunts can lower CPU.

Likely whoever made that preset wanted to leave space to add other crap if they want.

But yes, you could fit that together without the send/return by removing the shunts.

As for impact, maybe a marginal processing power impact from the logic for the send/return blocks.

I'd like to know more on this. Any info or video or demonstration?

Finally found a source audio hot hand 3 expression ring after weeks looking! Bought it last night, should be here next week sometime! I had it before like twice but always ended up letting it go but hoping to keep a hold of this one and use it with my FM9.

I thought those were so cool when they came out and had all kinds of Steve Vai stage moves planned for utilizing one but I never saw one in the wild and just forgot about them over time.

Or this alternative:

Seems that feedback loop could be a good avenue for a glitch delay? Maybe feeding a Pan/Trem block using a square sine wave and an LFO attached to the Rate? I need to fuck around with those modifiers more to understand how to utilize them better.

This stuff is REALLY cool and I think I might take the plunge in getting the small screen with the two EC/XY controllers. My biggest thing to navigate right now is how often I have to walk up to my pedalboard, there's a couple songs where I can't walk away from it so I'm tickled with the idea of switching Scenes with the XY controller and using the EC controller for some weird ring mod/pitch stuff.

This dude goes through all the products, seems Luminite put some good thought into developing these with tons of features and ease of use. Everything I saw seemed entirely logical, which isn't always the case with MIDI stuff.

EQ on top of EQ, is that what you mean? Because I've not noticed that more extreme effect.

I covered it here. The EQ is definitely part of the delays feedback loop, which is more or less what is happening in @yek 's image.

Ah okay. Thanks. Maybe I've been too subtle with it in the past then.

I will experiment later.

Sinking into the couch right now and can't get up :wat :rofl
