Fractal Talk

Being just a douche-bag / non-expert ;)

That could be one of the least helpful and most pointless comparisons I've ever seen.

Its not clear how similar the settings were ..... its not clear if the same IR was used .... etc.... and the playing examples used don't really highlight either modelers models.

I havent used and never will use a TMP, but have a lot of time on Fractal and L6 gear ..... personally, if I wanted Fenders, between these 2 options it would be Fractal all the way .... if nothing else you are comparing years and years and years of dedicated algorithm fine-tuning to the very first iteration of the TMP.

Its no accident that down here in Oz, whilst the shop-official-retail for the TMP is around $2850 ... you can easily walk in and grab one for well under $2 with little to no effort.

Ben

I suspect that video was a rapid fire knee-jerk reaction to John Cordy’s video comparing the TMP to Fractal for Fender tones.

seems like an old rich guy with fake glasses that likes to see himself in videos.

just tried these with the BE and BRIT800 models. They are fantastic.

I just picked it up also and agree. It seems like it's an updated/improved version of the GNR cab. The low end on the newer packs is much better than the older ones, which seems to have been a common complaint. I'm really liking the new capture method. I haven't been needing to use any cuts on them.

Also, it's currently $4.99 until the end of the month, which is such a good deal.
