SSS for me. Every time I play an HSS I find times when I really want single coil tones in the bridge. And I’ve never found any bridge tones I want that I can’t get out of a single coil.

But I don’t play anything heavier than old Dream Theater.

Fat strat only. There's no other config for me. I have 2 Fenders and a bunch of strat styled guitars. All H/S/S or H/H with coil tap.

Depends on the pickup - I have a bkp trilogy suite in my SSS MM silhouette and they are Def not useless.

You can also go rail like a dimarzio chopper

If it was my only guitar, HSS, otherwise SSS. I like the bridge single coil, they just need a tone pot.

Someone is selling a S/S/P90 (neck) Flaxwood over here for a good price and I am tempted.
