Where is this announcement of a Fractal Audio FX4 ? Or, is this just speculation ?
There's no actual announcement yet...

There's an "innocuous" comment from Cliff followed by a metric shit ton of wild speculation, some grainy, Sasquatch photos of a "supposed" unit in the wild and related comment by Andy Wood (about beta testing) and peppered with a few tasty morsels of tease by Cliff.

And some talk about cereal and milk...

But make sure you add the cereal before the milk, or you are a cretinous lout.

It sadly is.

The number of times I had to crumble and use it to sell to someone on the opposite side of North America because there was no local interest. 🙄

I don't mind Reverb. :sofa

10% fees total is pretty good for a kid who grew up getting 30%-40%
retail on trade in, or had to pay 20% for consignment fees.

I don't think Reverb is any dumber or more challenging an endeavour than any
other that involves humans. :idk

It's fine for what it is. My big gripe with online selling is how the company will always side with the seller. I get you want to have buyer protection but it can be abused.

But yes, much better than GC trade ins

Axe-Fx III is still super powerful and has a lot of mileage left in it!

But I would say that, because I own one and only bought it 9 months ago.

My current FAS product buying cadence has been roughly every 9 - 10 months though, so why interfere with that natural rhythm, eh?
Yes, if the helix can already be nine years old, what is the fractal axeX3? It’s only a half that isn’t it so yeah the axefx3 is relatively young compared to thr helix

I can’t be bothered shipping stuff anymore. If something won’t sell locally, I just keep it or trade it in
at a store toward something else. Far less hassle.
Same here its local or forget it.. come by checkit out and pay cash and then goodbye

How is it selling on facebook marketplace where you are? I don't have an account and have to use my wifes. You get some time waster emails and low balls but I've found it a lot easier and stress free than ebay. Plus once it's sold it's sold, there's no coming back after a few months with buyers remorse and using ebay distance selling regs to force you to refund.
I’ve never tried it. But it’s obviously time this old dog learns some new tricks.

Honestly, I’ve always felt the same way up until this sale. And I don’t think my beef is with Reverb so much as with the USPS.

Worth giving it a go. You've got a much smaller pool of people to sell to but no fees to worry about. If someone low balls me or asks an unbelievably stupid question I just ignore them.
