Back in high school I met another guitar player and he told me he was into no effects. I didn’t know how to react and told him I had a wah, distortion, and delay pedals. He laughed and said, no he’s into NOFX, the band.

I still don’t think he had a delay pedal.

I am very interested if it is hx stomp sized and has all Fractal's amp models and effects, kind of like a smaller FM3 but passively cooled with a smaller processor.
From the leaked images it does looks like Stomp size at least by the height of the Metro pedalboard.

I will tell you this, the guys I know that had the FX8 will NEVER buy another FX only unit from Fractal.

The fan boys will though just because it’s fractal and they have money to burn

Not necessarily. If I had to guess it's just effects only so probably FX4

If it was an *actual* FM4 version of the FM3 - yeah .... sure it doesn't replace an existing product - but it would make no sense to have an FM3 and an FM4 ..... just one extra button being the difference etc.....

My $$ - if these pictures are accurate - is on a 4 Button *efx* only unit ..... that ties in perfecty with Andy Woods comments in the video with Andertons where he said he runs a clean amp and [therefore] gets all his drives and efx tones from pedals.

If I'm right, this would be an amazing pedal to run with your Tonex Pedal or N.C Pedal.
