I've seen countless of times when a store misprices items, most commonly TVs and then deny the consumer at checkout. Here in Mexico we have PROFECO which is a gov's agency to protect consumer's rights and pretty much every time they tell the stores to honor the prices. As much as we can empath with an honest mistake or just a prank from an angry/resented employee, the law pretty much always sides to the consumer in this cases.
I even remember a Holiday sale where people (at least 100) got a $2000+ OLED TV for like $20 just because some asshat labeled the decimals wrong. LOL
