Back in the early '70s I gigged with a Kustom 200 that had a ported 2x15 cab like the one pictured below.
In retrospect it was an odd amp that for some reason didn't focus the sound until you got about 20' in front of it. It lacked high end frequencies so I paired it with an Ampeg Gemini II 1x12 combo that had an Altec Lansing speaker.
I used to play Hendrix's version of the Star Spangled Banner at volume in our apartment in Philly and would run out the back door when I saw the police pull into the driveway.
A DJ radio personality friend of mine told me that Patti LaBelle, who lived on the sixth floor of a high rise apartment building a block away, said she could hear me playing, If nothing else, it was loud AF.
