How is it for uninterrupted power supply in the room sound?
The unit itself is silent when supply is present - normal operation.
If supply is interrupted, then a 15-second bleeper will sound, and you might get some hum on audio - whilst it’s in battery operation.
You then have lots of time to power down your valve-amp , and any digital effects.
Huge benefits in sound. The ripple-free AC voltage is great for gear, and there should be no 50hZ hum to interfere with the bottom-end - which improves clarity.
You are also isolated from raw mains.
It will re-write the perfect sine-wave for you, and you can program voltage to be less or more than supply-level.
I use a 750W for my computer stuff, and hi-fi racks, together with a computer screen.
Then I have a 1KW which powers my two valve amps and their racks.
Especially good if you are editing or updating firmware. A supply interruption would be catastrophic.
Also, when supply locations switch over on the grid, you can get spikes of double your normal voltage. The unit will give only a steady, preset voltage, and dump the spikes.
Batteries are easily changed, perhaps every 4 years.
During a power-cut, I can hook up a reading lamp, and a microwave and travel kettle. So I can have hot food and a coffee.
