Andy Timmons Super AT Mod

Hmm…I wonder if AT takes offers on his complete rig…saves a lot of time chasing his sound ;-)
Also a quick way to discover you’d need his musical skills ;)

anyway…love the Halo…this retails at…..?
199. Just enough where I will hem haw about it forever and not make a purchase till someone lets a used one out in the wild for $100 :bag

Justification: I've been wanting a Blues Driver forever. Problem solved! :rollsafe

That was my thought too! It would go really well with my Princeton. It's either this AT version or the Waza Craft. I like the look of this.

Only other thing I'm after right now is a Wampler Belle (Nobels), which should also be totes awsum with the Princeton.

I bet you would hate it. Seriously.

BD circuit is hard to love for a guy that plays clean to edge of breakup a lot,
let alone someone who doesn't. :idk
Interesting. I say this with the acknowledgement that A. Mark is picky af with boosts and B. I don't really gel with my SD-1 with the Strat for cover band boosting an already almost nutso amp purposes. C. You are probably right :rofl
Wouldn’t it be pretty close to the Plumes set to asymmetric mode?
Interesting as well. I always thought the Plumes was a modded TS clone of some sort. These drives all kind of bleed together; especially how I end up running them. AKA dial every amp the same then try and slather shit on top of that sameness :whistle :facepalm:rofl

Yeah Plumes is more tube screamer but if I’m thinking correctly a JHS’s Morning Glory is BD style which I couldn’t get rid of fast enough. I’ve come to the conclusion of give me a great tweak-able eq wise clean boost and a tube screamer based pedal or Klon style and I’m happy.

Pretty sure Andy only used his modded Blues Driver in certain situations/applications anyways.

Definitely was not an always on type of thing.

He is VERY specific. Something like, "I engage the BD only when I am on the neck pickup with my volume
rolled back," sort of thing.

Please don't quote me.

I refuse to remember he was ever a part such nonsense. :whistle
It's super weird. I am usually fairly familiar with rock artists even if I haven't listened to a ton of someone's stuff. Super cool by every account and from all the YT demo clips I have seen dynamic player for days but looking at his discography is one of the biggest for me collection of never heard it's :idk I thought he was a shred guy turned church player for the types of tones he seems to always show off in his demo vids but zero clue as I am digging into his discography.
TBF; I wouldn't recognize Danger Danger either as I only liked first tier/gen hair metal; not 8 years after the fact stuff :rofl

He's a genius level player, and does it without ever being a wanker----unlike some who are
both genius level players and wankers.
In the Keeley video; Andy is playing some small bits and pieces and throws out a Jeff Beck nod. I am a hair more familiar with his material and Adny was nailing a "nicer", "more polite" JB vibe in what he was doing. Dude's technique is :chef in every thing (that isn't a song he actually wrote or recorded) that I have ever watched/listened to.

Yeah honestly I hadn’t heard about him much until I started hearing about him early on in guitar forums. I remember the band from back then mainly the videos and it just was so cheesy he was covered up by it and that’s even for me who loved me some cheese. I’m glad I found him though because he’s had a huge impact on my approach to playing with less notes and more finesse.
