Yes and it helps me not to buy more gear.You at least get to spend some time really getting to know it, though. The older I get the more I realize that sometimes it’s better to experience a little bit of something rather than existing with it for years, for a myriad of reasons.

No and I don't think a well repaired clean break sounds any different. You only get differences starting to occur when you have to splice in splines.Serious question, not being snarky (even though I'm not a big fan of LP's): are they doing any models with pre-broken headstocks, for both authenticity as well as strengthening? I heard rumors of it, but I can never tell when someone's just being a smartass.
