My strat is gone. I disliked it. My LTD Evertune equipped EC1000ET is gone. I disliked it.

The necks.

Too thin. Toothpicky. Flat edges of the fretboards. Fretwork was a bit factory-with-no-love for both of them too, but they just felt really uncomfy.

So I'm idly wondering what guitars out there give strat sounds, with a proper chunky Les Paul neck??

Tyler, Fat 59 .875” to .980” or Vee .880 to .990
Original Fender Jeff Beck Strat 1 inch later they thinned them out.
I had Suhr make me a Henderson model when he first started his own thing in the 90s that instead of the usual .800 to .880 was 1 inch on the first fret.

This one. Fat Strat setup with '59 LP neck carve. It is for sale and I can convert it to H-H as well.

not exactly the same, but a les paul special will be kinda splitting the difference. strats have all the springs underneath, so youd never really get strat outa non strat... but a p90 lesters maybe not impossibly off.
