Who’s wireless these days?

The last time I used wireless live I had horrible problems with interference and signal cutting in/out. That experience spooked me and I haven’t trusted them ever since.

With the theater stuff there are so many wireless signals being used in the production it can be a bit dicey

A quick update- the Sennheiser was flawless all night. Sounded great, zero dropouts or interference, and MAN was it nice to not have a cable in my way!

I just ordered an Xvive A58 system (I just returned the LEKATO WS-50)

Xvive does list its max input range on their website; Looks like they give you an option for a -10dB pad as well, though looks like they don't make it up on the receiver - I'll test it out once I get them.
MAXIMUM LEVEL
Passive mode: 2.84Vp-p; Active mode: 7.5Vp-p; volume -10 dB

I have the A58. Love it.

Do you have experience with the WS-50? Just curious how they compare. I’ve experienced very noticeable degradation with the WS-50. It doesn’t get used much.
Never heard of it until now. But so far I don't have any complaints out of the A58. Sounds pretty transparent, has pretty good range and hasn't had issues with interference like my old 2.8 GHz units had.

I’ve been using the Xvive’s for nearly 2 years now and they’ve never failed me - practice and stage.

Used the Lankatos for about 6 months prior and they did this really weird thing where my tone would cut from full sound, to like it was just a clean signal w/no fx, to out/silent in a few split seconds, then do it in reverse. Would happen 3-4 times during practice, at totally random intervals and took me about 2 months to figure out it was those and not my amp or a pedal or cable.

LiveeviL talked me into buying the Xvives and Ive never regretted it.
