Been using my Lekato WS-50 for my last 3 punk gigs and handful of practices with no issue. Relay G10 before that on big city private party event gigs, yacht club events too rich for my blood.
So the XVive a58 is the answer then? I do like the dongle setup over the body pack. I already have a body pack for my IEMs.I need to up my wireless game. What setup for a professional gigging situation?
I have been using mine and it has worked pretty well. I do get some minor dropouts from time to time but it's probably more due to our many WiFi devices on stage. I worry about the durability of these units and I am in the market for something a little "better"?Been using my Lekato WS-50 for my last 3 punk gigs and handful of practices with no issue. I also have the Lekato WS50s but got these about 2 months ago and happy so far. I wanted a UHF set to deal with interference and have options depending on the venueI have been using mine and it has worked pretty well. well, I don't know if it is THE answer, but I put mine through a lot of live shows in all kinds of different venues, from holes in the walls to theaters and it performed flawlessly. I tried a Lekato before and I had issues on venues with heavy WiFi activity near the stage. So the XVive a58 is the answer then? I do like the dongle setup over the body pack. Good choices. I have both and have used both in many places in a good few different states, and have never had a problem with either. So I ordered the Shure GLXD16+. We have a ton of wireless devices on stage, IEMs, mics, guitars, and I want something with more channels. Also I see a lot of these in touring rigs. My band plays theaters, clubs, shells, shacks, all kinds of places and we travel a bit so I need something trouble free and robust, good battery life, good support, etc. I am booked solid through the summer so we'll see how it goes. My little Lekato dongle will serve backup duty. It has been pretty decent but I am afraid it's going to fall apart one of these times lol.
