gave the mark IV a go through the EVH cab, albeit at fairly low volume. That’s one of my favorite cabs, but tbh, I didn’t feel like there was an appreciable difference between the 2x12 and just running it as the combo (in fact, preferred combo a bit). Hence I continue to teeter back and forth on the whole headshell conversion thing. Played a gig with it just as a combo on Saturday and it sounded great

In fairness I should probably try again with more volume

Needed to change strings on the Gilmour Strat and the neck felt a bit gunky when I picked it up, so it’s having a spa night.

Plugged the guitar straight into a amp, no reverb, no effects. Dialed in just a touch of crunch and freaked out by playing some Paganini.

Been using my engl thunder with the 1x12 mesa widebody the last few practices. Sounds really good and is just cute as a button

Removed the Tremsetter and installed FU-Tone springs into my Strat Plus Deluxe. Let it float.

Swapped the SD Distortion set for EMG 81/85 in my Jackson soloist, yayyyy!

Wasn't playing it much, very muddy and blah before. Now may try the 85 in the bridge just for the hell of it
