I played my partscaster Fender Pawnshop Offset Special with an ebony board American Elite compound radius neck through a Fractal Audio FM9 and V3 Archangel Fender FR-10 and FR-12.

The semi-hollow design plus the humbucking Jazzmaster neck pickup work well for Jazz.

Played some of my maple fretboard strats, and the frets/fretboard feel sticky, so I'm probably going to have to take some time as some point, and sand the finish off some, as it is unpleasant. I have maybe 6 or so with maple fretboards, so that'll be fun.

You only really feel it if your frets are low . You could refret them and take the finish off during the refret. That would honestly take me half the time than removing just the finish and getting it looking right.
