What are you listening to right now ?

Dude; Cavalera is playing local to me on my wife's birthday. She's given me the go ahead and it's taking all I can to stick with the "let's do what you want to do!" :bag  :satan
If I brought my wife to a metal show:

My wife is awesome :love We go to my oddball metal shows, we go to her 80s pop stuff (that is essentially "ours" as well), we go to our gangster rap shows :satan
My wife would honestly love prog metal shows I think. She tolerates BTBAM enough because of the circus music and she genuinely likes Opeth lol (when I play it of course)

What's actually really special about it (beside the Mrs. b-day) is 2 fold.

1. They are performing Chaos AD in it's entirety.
2. Fear Factory is opening.
3. I saw this tour in the early 90's and it killed.
4. I am talking myself into it as we speak
1. valid point! (even though it would be even more valid with Arise in its entirety, of course)
2. valid point!
3. valid point!
4. valid point!

It's settled then. It will also help you overcome your guitar-buying difficulties. You will buy a white B.C. Rich Warlock after the gig.

Yeah, my wife wasn't into Metal at all. But now she also likes my favourite band, Paradise Lost (especially because their singer is so attractive. She always talks about „handsome Nick“ when it comes to the band.), and she also really likes Amorphis.

If anyone wants to get into BTBAM I say start with Parallax II - that was their peak imo - and Coma Ecliptic for a softer vibe. Parallax puts me on a kind trip it’s like a drug all on its own 😍

As I believe @Orvillain and me have - at least some - overlapping tastes in music (bands I believe we both like that come to mind are Tool, Isis, Oceansize, Cult of Luna, Opeth, A Perfect Circle, Mastodon, Soundgarden...), I thought I'd give Orv's former band's latest album another listen.

Currently this song:

I do like what I hear! The whole album actually.
