TwoNotes GENOME!!!

Hey Guys, Ross from Two notes here - apologies for the late reply, it was a national holiday in the UK yesterday and I took a long weekend!

So, if you were a WoS customer prior to January 2024 or a Two notes hardware user, you are entitled to a complementary copy of GENOME — check the article here for more info: https://www.two-notes.com/en/grab-your-complimentary-copy-of-genome-today/

If you have any other questions, hit me up! :)

Thank you, I’ll check it out

Okay, so Genome kicks ass. All the goodness of the NAM captures I've done so far, coupled with cool effects and my DynIR's OR my IR's. I'm not sure where I am in the license scheme, if it's the base Genome, a Genome Lite, or whatever. But the trial thing seems to be gone, and it's allowing me to use all the previously purchased DynIR's and stuff. I'm going to play with it for awhile, but I might opt for the full fat Suite at some point. This is a killer app.

Yeah Genome is solid - some good FX in there too.

That sounds like GENOME (non Trial to me!) Glad you're enjoying it! :)

Haha! Yes indeed — we have quite a cool bunch of TSM Ai amps in there now - One of my personal Fav's is HEKTOR — super punchy! :)

I’ve not auditioned that one, but the Badlander and SLO models are in my cart. So how do these TSM AI amps work? I assume they’re parametric captured amps, not component modeled?

It looks like they're a mix of both - not sure which section (pre or power) is neural-net driven (suspect it's the poweramp) though.

That said, I like the TSM-AI amps a lot. Also look at their Randall Satan amp - with the slope / mid-sweep pot and the Girth/Grind, it can get all sorts of modded Marshall sounds. I like that one a lot; it and the Molly (Ecstasy).

Just updated my Genome, it has been a little while and was a few versions back. The new amps sound really good but kinda bummed I'd have to pay to unlock them.

Maybe they borrowed TINA, or hired her sister? :rofl

It does feel a bit IK-ey. :D

But if the Suite includes everything for ~$150, that's not terrible.

I bought the upgrade to Genome Suite after testing that SLO. Very easy to dial using the included settings and amp presets.

But after buying it, all I have been playing are the Fenders (the new calis from the recent updates) :bag

Awesome! Well, we cant exactly reveal how they work precisely (company secrets and all) but we actually take a hybrid approach — we find this generates the best possible and accurate response for the amplifier and our team spend a heck of a lot of time refining this for the feel and response we know our users expect!

Glad you like it — Diabolus is definitely a mainstay in my GENOME rig as well — killer Amp!

Well, depending on what version you were using previously. We have close to 40 Pedals that are all free to GENOME License holders and we have no let-up on the stock components on the horizon. We cant wait to show you what we have in store for GENOME v1.11! :)

Ah cool — I dig the Fender Amps too! Which one is your favorite?

I have been thinking about potentially capturing my (very) modded Blues Junior - would this be something you'd potentially be interested in?

Dude, I love the SLO and have SO MANY sims of it: Fractal FM9, S-Gear, Helix Native, and tried but didn't like Neural's. But yeah, I'm still buying the Genome one anyway, because it's great. :rofl

That's all well and cool, but I'm not that interested in pedals. Several amps have been added and pay walled. I'd trade 20 of those pedals for a few of those amps

Absolutely yes! And be sure to crank it :beer

Right now, I’m playing the CaliBro59 (Bassman) the most. I previously used a Bassman NAM profile from Tone3k, but the added flexibility is welcome.
