Meant to post this yesterday. Was reading this thread fired up my writing template and im pretty sure this is basically the default STL middleton landing preset... no nerd mixing not even any post EQ, perfect for my needs.

I do beta testing for them so if someone wants to ignore my opinion then so be it.I just downloaded the demo for this plugin last night thanks to this thread, it sounds nasty. What are your overall thoughts on it?
I’ve used STL Amphub for years, but this plugin still sounds quite different to my ears, I can’t pinpoint why.
Not really. Sounds pretty much identical so it really doesn’t matter.Does it matter the QC model is a 6505?

I started with them a couple months after Middleton had launched so I wasnt part of it back then. From an outsiders perspective I'm pretty sure the Middleton Tonality is the most popular one. I have amphub and there's a lot to love there but its pretty much do the annual sub or dont bother with it. A lot of people love the 5150 and recto from Amphub so picking up middleton is like a good exit strategy to get off their sub.
I can only assume its the same modelling under the hood as Amphub (6505+, 5153 white and Phantom are also great), but maybe Middleton helped a bunch with the cab captures and default presets nudging it in a "more better/quicker" end result presets.
For instance he's pretty much baked in this EQ pedal into a lot of them, guess it was a way to shape things ontop of the amp/cab modelling. But yeah I think its the same modelling probably just more attention to detail on a few little things which helps it.

Agreed with the EVH 5150s of theirs, they absolutely nail those amps.
My suspicion is it’s the cab IRs, maybe you’re right that JM put his own tweaks in the chain. I know in a video he said he was pretty insistent on that EQ you mentioned. But there’s just the slightest extra fullness in his plugin compared Amphub. All are great either way.
I'm in this club. Bought mine new in 1993 for $675. Somehow still have the receipt.
Have been mostly playing the green channel boosted for the last year or so, EQ in the loop. Before that, always red, and I had no idea what I was missing. I think I ignored the crunch function because it wasn't foot switchable.
