The Food Thread

Garlic lovers, I made an amazing salad dressing yesterday.

Roasted a full head of garlic in the airfryer. You just cut off the head, add a little oil and salt, wrap in foil and Airfry for about 30 minutes:

When finished you can just squeeze out the soft cloves and spread the like butter if you want! :drool.


Anyway, I squeezed them into about a cup of Greek yoghurt together with a couple tablespoons of EVOO, fistful of cilantro, salt, pepper and some thai chili flakes for some heat.
Gave them a good beating with my hand blender and that was it. As I just discovered, left in the fridge overnight the flavor just takes off!
I used half of it yesterday and the other half tonight, big difference.

I consider myself fairly vampire-proof now. 👨‍🍳
 
has anyone tried the pork shoulders from aldi?? they are pretty dang good. one is carnitas and one bbq. been getting one of each for sunday afternoons. my kids love them.

Was thrilled to randomly find some super hots at a farmers market this past weekend. Dehydrated and made some death flakes out of most, still have a decent amount of fresh, might make some bulk salsa. Probably going to grab even more next weekend for hot sauce

This shit is devastating. And I say that has someone with a pretty high heat tolerance. And yes, flavor is all there :love
