Don't like the company and the infinite step backwards in fx quantity and quality from FAS is a big NOPE from me.

They will release dual cortex with plug in support at launch in April
With it coming to QC owners in Q3

I just watched the ToneJunkie video. I feel a strong antipathy towards all those who seriously describe the QC as "best in class".

I used to live walking distance from The Baked Potato. Every time I went there they were either out of baked potatoes or the kitchen was closed that night. Really wanted to eat a baked potato at The Baked Potato, but alas.

Danny Carey was always hanging out, so that was cool.

So according to HW latest speculations that luckily showed up in my YouTube feed
He asked the Namm organizers and was told that Neural space they rented was about 35,000 and he believes that soon is not referencing the plug in compatibility but a new hardware unit
That would be certainly be interesting if they got under the $1000 barrier

I saw he posted a vid in a NDSP FB group, dude's just trying to drive up clicks, I'd imagine.

IF that was a "clue" or hint towards the future, again, it was stupid because NAMM is where you go to display what you HAVE, not the shit you're hoping you can pull off better than the first thing you half-assed.

But by all means, I've said it for a while now, I'd LOVE for NDSP to release a new hardware unit with the QC in the current state it's in. Maybe this one will have legit effects in it and they can pair with the OG QC. Of course, you'll probably need an additional MIDI switcher to use them in tandem, but current QC owners probably have at least one kicking around already.

That stuff + functionality and not having to question "Can it do this?" + Reliability/Trust comes before my distaste of NDSP.

I’d probably kick the tires on a Dual Cortex if plugins are ported by then, and it still does all the capture stuff. Just a smaller screen, no bottom row of footswitches, and two full lanes vs four.

Haaha! I hear this all the time. Just terrible luck on my part, I guess. Will need to go back, but crossing the 405 is like pulling teeth these days.
