Synergy Owners Thread

Is the Pumpkin that popular? I remember a pretty prolonged delay for it, and then the only demo I heard was pretty shrill. Granted that might have been a Wrestlemania demo?

The Cali is kind of what put him on the map no?

I’d pay good money for a @santiall designed module of the JVM OD1 orange.

I think the Meshuggah is still the most notorious one of them all. That said, the demo Jason put out of the amp sounded pretty damn cool and his other vids leading up to the release of his OG Pumpkin all sounded nothing short of awesome.

If the real amp is alike with the plugin, the Cali is a b!tch to get good tones from. Very finicky but there are a couple of combinations in there that work well.

JVM module would instantly fill up the open space in my 3u LX rack.

It is the Cali most likely
It’s on the Fortin instagram blurred controls
But gain 1 gain 2
Brights on both
3 voicing switches per channel
Like Thump , Hair Saturation

With the NDSP Cali plug I just always started from like one of two Nolly presets and then tweaked from there. I don’t think ive ever really tried to do much from scratch. I agree though, it’s def a tweakers amp with all the various switches and dual gains.

In either event it’s really cool to see Synergy bringing in new brands and designers.

Agree. Fortin is a pretty cool and unexpected add.

I actually have a Camerock from Salvation mods which is a funky dial in because it has so many switches/knobs. I tend to get it where I want it and leave it for long periods of time because touching it will only likely make it sound worse. :p It's part of that whole 'Jose mods gone wild' scene that spawned a bunch of makers, including Fortin.

The ToneKing should appeal to the booteek crew. I wonder if the Fryette module will be a Sound City/Hiwatt...

I really am hoping Reinhold will do a new one again someday. the Ecstasy and Uber might both be top 5 modules for me. A Snorkler, Eclipse, Shiva, those all have so much potential.

Would love to see Friedman do a JEL or one for his new Jose amp.

Agree that Orange would be a cool add but am not expecting there to ever be an official one there.

A snorkeller or Eclipse would be amazing

I am not sure about the Fortin Cali technically it seems like The BE DLX would cover the
3 and 4 gain stages in the BE/HBE and the saturation Jose mod.
I have never been a big fan of Fortin he designs just seem to be focused to Metal ,

ToneKing Imperial
And a Marshall licenced Jubillee would be far more exciting to me

Been thinking about it a bit.. the plugin version of the amp doesn't have Bright switches for both Gain1 and Gain2 on a per channel basis; it's only 1 Bright switch per channel & that's tied to Gain2.

This preamp module might be something else..?

Neither the Pumpkin nor the Cali have 2 bright switches per channel. Maybe this is some variation of his other mods - could tie into the whole thing Dave Friedman's doing with Jose's estate.

that looks great and it looks like it is the Gower circuit
lots of stuff 3 position brights, 3 position voice, saturation , 3 or 4 stage preamp

If Synergy IR20 has some wicked power amp controls and is a game changer as Mike Neilson says , I think they will pretty much steal the show
