Standberg Boden Essential vs HILS Next

I had mentioned losing switch positions on my Essential. Finally found the time to swap in a new switch and was able to confirm that it was indeed the switch that failed. I suppose I can't fault Strandberg too much for that, although I wish they would just use better switches.

That said, I was still unimpressed with the wiring job. It wasn't terrible or anything, but it wasn't very clean either.

From what I have seen, working on a few of them now, they use the nice Schaller switches in the higher end models and the cheaper stuff in the Essential.
